Hello. Today i was attempting my first build.
Specs:
OCZ ModXStream 700watt
gigabyte radeon 7870
1tb hard drive
msi - 990fxa-GD80 v2
FX-8350 processor.
16gb (2x8) ram 1600mhz ddr3
Thermaltake Commander ms-1 case
I got it all built up today. I was pretty proud of myself. Hit that power button and it started running. Fans were on. CPU cooler running. DVD drive was working. Hard Drive had power.
But... NO DISPLAY.
I have read the guide on no display and tried running with one stick of ram and all the other things that were requested. The motherboard i have has an LED debug panel on it. The code displayed says "97". I looked in the manual and that code wasn't even in there. I really need help and don't want to end up wasting the 1500$ I have spent on this computer. Please help, thanks.
