This is my first gaming build, will it be sufficient?

Video Card: AMD Radeon HD 7770 - 1GB(Crossfire)
MOBO: ASUS M5A97 R2.0 -- AMD 970
PSU: 750 Watt - Corsair CX750
Hard drive: 1 TB HARD DRIVE -- 32M Cache, 7200 RPM, 6.0Gb/s

Is this a good set of parts for and average gaming computer?

With a 7770 you will be looking at medium settings in new games.

On the website I built it mentioned more then 500w plus I want to be able to upgrade it later on. What would you suggest instead of the 7770

A 7850 or gtx 660 for med/high settings comfortably.

You could run a 7770 on a 430w PSU easy. Don't let it tell you to get too many watts. The PSU I linked will run ANY GPU.

500w will be plenty for any of these cards.

Then go for a 600w unit, which would power your CPU and a 7970 with ease.

As for the graphics card, the rule of thumb is to spend twice on the GPU what you do on the CPU - so you'd be looking at a 7870XT.
