I was going to install Bioshock to my E drive but then I wondered, since I think it has limited installs(?) might it be a good idea to install it on my main OS drive so that it will be backed up as a system image the next time I make one? Will this mean that (should my drive fail or something) upon restoring it would be installed already and not require a code?

I got it new from a friend so I don't know how I'd get new codes once they're used up and I already used up one when my previous hard drive failed.

Thanks

As far as I know if you own the key you can install the game over and over on the same system not 2 different pc,s example IE= You went out bought a old game like doom 3 and installed it on 30 computers that's wrong and illegal, but as far as installing it on your system 3 or 4 times a year because your drive failed or you got a virus you should be able too each game has a code which is meant for one computer only.

If you go to the Amazon page you can see that Bioshock has a ton of bad reviews based upon the DRM. http://www.amazon.co.uk/product-reviews/B000V1VZNE/ref=cm_cr_pr_hist_3?ie=UTF8&filterBy=addThreeStar&showViewpoints=0 It seems it has between 3-5 installs and then that's it.

So would installing on my C drive mean I'd not lose an install if I my SSD broke and I had to restore a disk image? Just I found out that lots of people who bought the same SSD as me had theirs fail so I'm being cautious.

Oh wait
"As of June 19, 2008, 2K Games has removed the activation limit, allowing users to install the game an unlimited number of times. However, online activation remains mandatory.[140]"
