There are a lot of manufactures of this card...i don't know what to choose...some say EVGA others say that they suck! I don't know that to think...i just need hard clean facts! Thanks!

1) The 680 is a poor choice. It's only 5% faster than a 670, but it costs 25-30% more. That means they max the exact same games, and you're paying $100-150 more for about 5 fps.

2) When it comes to brands, it comes down to whether you're overclocking or not. If you are, you want something with a good cooler, like the ASUS Direct CUII. If you aren't, then EVGA by far is the best, for their warranty and stock overclocks with non-reference boards.

Hmm this is my build
CPU i7 3770k
Mobo asus p8z77-v deluxe
Memory Ripjaws X 16 gb (2x8) 1600mhz
Case HAF x
Psu Corsair Enthusiast Series TX 750 Watt ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Bronze (TX750)
Gpu 6....80....well you know...
Hard drive....havent chosen
DVD drive haent chosen
And finally the rest i am reusing

The 680 IS a good card, but it's basically no better than a 670, while costing $100 more.

As for the rest of your build, if you haven't gotten it yet, you can drop to an i5-3570k, which performs EXACTLY the same as an i7 for gaming. That money saved will let you get a hard drive for data storage and an SSD for windows and the games that benefit from it.

That's true - if you heart is set on the 680, then get it.

As for brands, Asus and MSI are both great, but I'd shy away from Gigabyte. Their cooling solutions are good, but the cards themselves aren't amazing, and their customer service is nonexistent.

Ok...i had lightning strike me and got this idea! Ok so before all this i was thinking about the EVGA gtx 680 CLASSIFIED, now this is a 600 dollar card. And my idea was, what if i got two lesser cards that worked in tandem. And this would be fine....but I don't know ANYTHING about doing that and i don't know if my mobo is compatible AND i want to do a 3 monitor display. I know the 680 can support 4 monitors but i don't know if the same is true about two cards... Please help! Oh and what do you think is better... Eyefinity or nvidia's surround?

Two cards will work just fine, and I'd go with a pair of 7950s. (AMD supports high resolutions like that better.)

Also, you're way overpaying on the motherboard... but that one supports QUAD sli or xfire.

Splendid

Eyefinity is easily more polished than nVidia's surround. For multi-monitor choose Radeon - 7950/7970GHz.

Thanks everyone for commenting! I appreciate all you had to say! But whilst searching i found something that made the choice for me. I found that wile i probably would have done AMD i have to go with Nvidia because they have better cards that render things better. And that's something i want to do with this card. So unless you have some other info, i will choose nvidia. but thank you for helping me so much!

They don't render things "better" - they just do it faster, depending on the program you're using. Some programs will be faster with an AMD card, some will be faster with an Nvidia card.

However, amd does handle a multi-monitor setup much, much better. That being said, if you're going to stick with Nvidia, be sure to get a pair of 4GB cards - I recommend the 670. (The 680 is a bad pick, because it's only 5% faster than a 670, but it costs 25-30% more.)

You can have three monitors running on a single card, if you want. You'll get great performance off of a single 680... almost exactly the same performance as off a single 670, actually.

You really don't need two GPUs unless you're going for a triple monitor setup or a REALLY high resolution screen.

Ohhh darkstable....you made me laugh so hard...you really just want time to buy the 670 and i know its probably better cost/performance. It's just...i kinda do want the 10% extra performance. Thank you thought for all the information! It was really helpful! But you think the 680 will perform just fine with 3 monitors? Thank you!

Yeah, but it's not 10%, it's 5%... when it comes down to it, it means you're paying another $100 for about 4-6 frames a second. Sorry I keep hammering the point home so hard, it's just that this is one of the things that kills me, because that $100 could be spent elsewhere to make a rig so much better rounded.

When it comes to GAMING on three monitors, the 680 will get you medium-high settings. That being said, however, you would have to get the 4GB 680, which is another $100. The reason you'd need the 4GB one is because 2GB of vram is going to actually be a bottleneck for 5670x1080.

However, there is a solution. The 7970 HD is actually a slightly faster card than the 680, costs the same amount, and comes stock with 3GB of VRAM... a happy medium.
