Hi,
i installed WHS 2011 yesterday on (new) 120GB SSD from USB flash drive without any troubles. However due to major mistake i made during installation (wrong PC name - same as already used in network for other PC) i need to reinstall it and give during new installation i need to give the server different name.
I tried same way as i used for installing WHS - from USB flash drive and also on USB flash drive in root of it i have also cfg.ini file which contains below:
[WinPE]
ConfigDisk=1
CheckReqs=0
WindowsPartitionSize=MAX
However it doesn't work. Installation stucks after choosing of HDD saying that my HDD is smaller than 160GB I really don't understand why since the method is the same as fresh install. Any idea what i am doing wrongly (I would rather say what Microsoft is doing wrong...)
Do i need to clean/delete/format SSD so it is empty? If so, what steps should i avoid not to damage SSD or not to slow it's performance?
Many thanks, i can't move furher and i am sick of it already...
