Hi all..i have and acer 5750g i5-2450M (Nvidia GeForce model)
When i bought it had in the 2 slots (RAM) :

1 slot has this Ram 1 GB: Unifosa

2nd slot has This Ram 2GB : Nanya

Max memory i can use is 8 GB.
i want to get rid of the 1GB ram and put this 4GB RAM --> Corsair .... so later i can get an other 4GB to get max.

Will i have Compatibility problems cause of the 6GB or ram ?
and does this RAM fits my laptop?

i don't know lot about ... every answer will be great help.
Thanks in advance.

Normally it is never a good idea to mix and match RAM, with the older smaller modules it didn't matter as much, but as they continue to get faster and faster, it will make a more noticeable difference.
Just from comparing your other RAM modules, I would assume your system can handle 1333MHz.
I can't tell you what it would be okay if you use unless I have your Motherboard brand and model.

then i will follow your advice and get that 2 x 4GB ram rather than testing and trying updating the only one slot to 4.

Thank you VERY VERY much for your help!
