The Noctua NH-D14 is generally considered the best air cooler, and it fits LGA 775. Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO has a better performance/price ratio and also fits LGA 775. However, I'm not familiar with how overclockable an E6600 is, and if you don't plan to overclock, why not stick with the stock cooler?
