How Do I Store 'Recently Opened Programs/Files' Permanently?

I've been trying to find a way to make this happen, but have had no luck so far.

In my computer, the maximum number of Recent Programs that can be stored are 30, and the maximum number of Recent Files are 60.

What I want is to be able to log EVERY file and program that has been opened, with Time\Date, permanently, without any auto-capping at a specific number.

If anyone could educate me about any method already present in Windows to achieve this, or point me to a thirdparty app/utility/software that'll do this, I'd be very grateful.

Does it have to be explicitly unlimited remembering of recent items? Wouldn't setting the maximum way beyond what you'd ever need, such as 2147483647 (the maximum signed 32-bit integer) be enough? I'm not sure whether Windows would crash if you tried to view the recent items on the start menu with a very large number there (instead of opening an explorer window for them).

No, it doesn't have to be unlimited. Just enough to go back up to at least 30 days.
Does the method you have in mind store time\date as well?

While it's not exactly what I was looking for, it does seem somewhat promising.

It would still be awesome if I found something more like what I described earlier, though.

However, thank you for linking me this; I will check this out in the meantime :)
