See this stuff all the time over here as well. People get crazy ideas about how much their stuff is worth. I think it's funny that he knows this which is why he didn't list the cost if you bought the parts.

Don't forget though. You get 3 games... ;)

If you priced out this computer $$$$! I've built computers that cost double this ..... I really would love to see a $10,000 computer.

It shows how stupid the dude truly is that he has 680's in SLI with one 1080 monitor.

I find it funny how people expect to get more for a put together piece than the cost they bought the parts for. You can only rip people off like that when you have the 'legitimacy' and advertising of a place like CyberPower or similar.

If you want to talk about dumb/bad builds, this was the funniest (but also quite sad) thing I ever saw, on the Systems thread of my PlanetSide 2 outfit: link

For those of you who can't be bothered to open links, here's a quote (annotations in bold):

I am still doing some cable management M: It's honestly some of the worst I've ever seen so bare with the pictures. The ATX power connector on this mobo is VERY poorly placed, so I have just been kinda bleh with moving them around. The other cables are just in and out of the case until I can find time to actually organize/straighten/tuck them away. The case and components are a bit dusty, I normally have a window open next to it for better air flow (even better since its cold winter air) so it adds to the dust issue a lot. All-in-all though the computer screams pretty good.

After someone pointed out it was a rather strange setup:

I wanted a decent gaming PC yet I didnt want to go TOO overboard like all that Alienware crap.IMO 4GB and 1 TB is enough,but I went with 2 just incase Planetside 2 becomes quite big M: gotta be careful of those 1 TB+ video games :3. About the Pentium 4 and 680,well Pentium 4 so I could play CPU intensive games better (like Planetside 2 and ArmA 2),and 680s to Play BF3 quite smoothly on ultra.Yes my setup CAN be quite confusing.Getting an Intel i7 soon because my pentium 4 is over a year old now.

He has the pictures to back it up. You can see the model numbers on the motherboard in the picture, and the case is indeed fairly so he'd clearly been using it.

Unless it's a very advanced troll, I think that's really his setup.

EDIT: Well maybe it was a troll, that would explain the difference between the pictures and the specs mentioned. I don't think anyone would have two graphics cards, while only saying/thinking they had one. Maybe though... Still made me laugh :p
