My boyfriend's computer started having problems this morning. First, his mouse wasn't working when he booted his pc up. He realized that it was the fault of the USB port it was plugged into, so he moved it to the port below it.
A while later, his computer shut itself down with a driver power state failure BSOD.
When it was rebooted, his headset was producing a loud buzzing noise, though he could still hear sound from his computer. It also had to be moved to another USB port in order to work correctly.
As far as I know, all of his drivers are up to date, including his Razer Mamba's drivers and his USB drivers. I'm pretty sure his Razer Taimat 7.1 headset doesn't have any.
The two USB ports that wouldn't work are right next to each other, while all of his other USB ports are fine so far.
Does anyone know what this means? Is the USB issue relevant to the BSOD? Thanks in advance for any information.
The best way to get rid of driver power state failure error is stated in a video tutorial. I have faced this error and resolved it by going through the solutions mentioned in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4o38NZNRO2o video tutorial. This is your time guys, go ahead.
