Artifacting (screen corruption) at low temperatures is usually one of the symptoms of a card on its deathbed.
But before crying and starting to look for a replacement try these steps:
Remove and clean out the card, if you do n't know how to do this, post us, we'll give you instructions.
Update the video drivers.
If possible, through the drivers, set the fan to run at full speed, all the time, to keep the temperature down.

Has options for front and side fans, are they installed and blowing IN?
Check the CPU and motherboard coolers are also clear, Speedfan or Realtemp will tell you the CPU temperatures.

turn the air condition on in the room and set it to 65 degrees fahrenheight (18 celcius) - open the case and clean out all the dust (with the computer off and unplugged from the wall) - install fans to move the hot air out of the case

New card is the way to go if you don't mind spending the money.

For now, open up your computer, maybe direct a fan at the open case and play some games. If air circulation really is the issue that will identify it pretty quick.

If your video card has a fan, make sure its spinning when the computer is turned on.

It could be the case or the cables in the box as well. An upgrade that may be fairly affordable could be a new case. I prefer cases like Lian Li. You can get a simple one that is all aluminum. Power supply on the bottom design is known for better dissipation. You may also have an design which causes heat to get caught in the system.

That is a simple case design with the power supply on the bottom.
