Hello,

I recently bought the Gigabyte GHz Edition 7970 and I have a Coolermaster 1000 Watt Silent Gold Pro..

My PSU has all the proper connections to plug into my graphics card and my graphics card came with 2 x 4 pin connectors that lead into PCI-E is what I'm guessing.. It didn't come with a manual in the box it just came with a card saying how to install it and go to there site to view the manual I guess were all going green. Anyways I viewed the manual and it doesn't say that I can or cannot.. I notice the connectors that came with the card don't have pins in each one of the ends but the one from my PSU don't..

More about : gigabyte 7970hd ghz edition

You dont need to use the molex adapters that came with the card. They are for power supplies that dont have the proper connectors. Your power supply has plenty of the appropriate connectors. Use a 6-pin pci-e and a 6+2 pin(for the 8-pin on the card). According to the specs you have 4 of each.
