Additional Comments:
First time builder here, but i've actually lurked around the forums as a guest for a really long time before deciding to finally create an account an post for help. I sorta prefer quietness and uh, safe temperatures, hence the Sapphire Vapor-X 7950. I will most likely be buying the above price lists, but those prices are in SGD. Would appreciate any advice or help :) I was also wondering if i'd need any additional fans/ thermal paste. Thanks!

Why you are upgrading: My really, really old pc is just dying, and i actually want to play games not on the lowest of settings anymore :(

You've got a great build there - you could tweak it a little bit to save a little money, but it's good as it is.

However, I STRONGLY suggest you buy a new, 1080p monitor. Games will look ten million times better, and your graphics card will be more than able to handle it.

honestly as its so close to the launch of haswell i would say hold off till june if you can. if you cant then a 3570k, ddr3 1600mhz, 7950 running on an asrock motherboard. there is no great myth to buying a gaming pc if you have 1000+ . a seasonic/antec 750w will give enough room to overclock and crossfire then its just down to case, cooler and storage.

also you do need a new monitor the 7950 will seriously bottleneck on that size screen... if the screen is to small you will never use all the available gfx mem and when you get fps droop it will be more severe than if your running on a larger screen.
yes larger screens genrally mean less fps but the difference between the min and max is also smaller. result smoother gameplay.
