Can i sli a 660 3gb with a 660 2gb ?

I currently have a EVGA GTX 660 SC+ 3gb gpu can i sli this with another EVGA GTX 660 but the 2gb version ?
will there be any issues with it or is it a total no go ?
the issue here is it is almost £50 more for the 3gb version compared to the 2gb version i hope you get where im coming from.

It can be done by using Coolbits to effectively neuter the 3GB card into a 2GB card. It is highly recommended to use the same cards by Nvidia, but Coolbits allows for you to turn the 3GB card into a 2GB card.

yes you can, but you wont have 5GB of VRAM, only 2 because they duplicate what is in the VRAM
