Hi everyone! I will be buying 7970 later this week, and just now it hit me, will my psu be able to handle it? It's a Corsair cx600. I know AMD recommends a 500 watt PSU, but just to be sure, I decided it would be good to hear your opinions.
Also I would like to know which 7970 to get: SAPPHIRE VAPOR-X HD 7970 GHz Edition or MSI Radeon HD 7970 Lightning? I'm leaning more towards the Vapor-X, since it's a bit cheaper, plus ghz edition, I guess, is nice. But I've never owned a Sapphire card before, so it will be nice to hear your thoughts on it.
My whole pc specs are:
Motherboard: Asus P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3
CPU: Intel Core i5 2500k
RAM: 2x Kingston HyperX 4gb DDR3
PSU: Corsair CX600
Current GPU: HD5670
HDD: some 7200 rpm Samsung
That's pretty much it.

Solution
Yes your power supply is good enough for a 7970 and you should buy which ever is cheaper of those two because both are beast and you couldn't go wrong with either one.
