i7-3770k the best CPU for me if I don't want to wait for LGA1150?

I want an IB for 3 monitor support, but I've heard that the 3570k's have known heat issues. I will primarily game/surf/watch movies. I don't do any rendering/video editing. Is the 3770k overkill? Good alternatives (besides waiting til June)? Or should I wait for June????

You want the 3570'k. The heat issues are nothing to be concerned about. They overclock just fine, and perform very well in gaming. The i7 is a waste for gaming. For 3 monitor support you want to let your GPU handle that... Not your cpu as the integrated graphics are not going to be enough to support 3 monitors while gaming.

Ahhhh. This is why I ask for help. The 3 monitor support can be handled by the integrated graphics but that would be dumb because the discrete GPU will do it better, thus no need for IB. So...an i5-3570K. Thank you sir.
