I'm building a gaming pc and want around a 700w power supply. Will this one do the job well enough, because I know it is cheap.

Here's my rig in-case you guys wanted to know

- GTX 660 (possibly 2)
- i5 3570k ivy bridge 3.4 Ghz
- 8gb or 16 gb of ram
- corsair CX 600w
-WD caviar black (1 tb)

any suggestions on the rig would be highly appreciated as-well.

thanks

Skimping on a PSU may seem economical, but its not. ESPECIALLY if you ever SLI. Too many times have I seen all sorts of problems with machines due to bargain PSUs. Go with a Corsair TX model. They are good and not as expensive as a 1Kw modular. I made the mistake myself of skipping the PSU during a few years of incremental upgrading knowing what I was getting myself into (but I really wanted that new RAM or GPU). Then the PSU takes a crap and no matter how good your components are, they cant power themselves
