I'm planning out my new pc and just wanted to make sure all my parts are compatible and any suggestions that you can make.

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D14 65.0 CFM CPU Cooler
Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Storage: Crucial M4 256GB 2.5" Solid State Disk
Seagate Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 670 2GB Video Card
Case: NZXT Phantom (White/Red) ATX Full Tower Case
PSU: PC Power & Cooling Silencer Mk III 750W 80 PLUS Gold Certified ATX12V Power Supply
Optical Drive: Asus BW-12B1ST/BLK/G/AS Blu-Ray/DVD/CD Writer

I was also wandering whether I should go with windows 7 or 8.

Thanks for help.

Great build! OS is up to you and if you are willing to learn a new one :)

I wouldn't get a Gold PSU unless your electricity is very expensive, you will run this under load for the better part of every day, or the Gold model is on a heck of a sale. Bronze is fine.

Would also recommend a GPU with a multi-fan cooling setup. The reference one is terrible. Can listen several below - and apparently the FTW editions *look* like the reference design but are much quiter (if the youtube vid another poster linked is reliable).

Realistically, anything over 4GB ram for a gaming machine is unnecessary -- no game I can think of will even utilize it. 8GB for multitasking, but 16 would only be needed in a video editing/ encoding/ rendering scenario
