will a gtx 670 work in my pc

i am planning on running 3 monitors but my motherboard only supports 1 pci slot. So my question is will a gtx 670 4GB work in a ASUS m5a 78l-musb3 MOTHERBOARD or should i just get a 7970 . also i have a fx 6200 . also i will use thes monitors for gaming

gtx 650 ti boost and higher are capable of running nvidia surround. If i were you i would go with a 7970 since amd eyefinity is more polished than nvidia surround.

It's funny how a debte began out of a simple question but now I have a z87x oc force and i5 4670k and an r9 290 now that I look back on it I should have got gtx 670 instead of the other 2 monitors the 6950 used to struggle even at low but the 290 gets 90 on medium on bf4 never drops below 60 I'm pretty happy but I would still prefer a pair of white 670s
