Connecting to Battlefield fails.

So I'm at college at the University of Cincinnati, and I cannot connect to the Battlefield servers, I click join server, the client pops up, then it just says loading. This happens 95% of the time. Their is a 5% chance though that I do get into a match and I can actually play.

I have contacted EA support and I have done dxdiags and uotrace etc. They told me it was on my universities end and that they didn't have the ports open. So I contacted my campus networking place, and they told me it was on EA's end because they had a problem with a student last year with the same thing and it ended up being on their end. I don't know if they are just telling me this because they don't want to fool with it or if it is actually on EA's end.

I have re-installed punkbuster numerous times, uninstalled BF3 and then did a fresh re-installation of all of the files, but still nothing has seemed to work. I am just getting tired of having to wait 50 minutes to get connected to a specialist from EA to try to help me out. So I came here wondering/hoping if anyone had any advice for me or if they have had the same issues.

Hopefully someone can help me out, thank you in advance!

EDIT: IT WORKS FINE AT HOME AND GRANDMOTHERS PLACE

99.99% sure it's on the universities side.
Other wise you'd see a flood of "I cannot connect to battlefield" forum questions online.
Typically A universities network will have a lot of ports used for gaming blocked.
A quick test... Take it home, To a friends, anywhere with unrestricted access and attempt to connect there.

Then it's the university unfortunately. Argue the fact with them that it works on all other networks except for theirs and maybe they will make an exception and get it opened for you. Good luck thou.
