System Specs:
Asrock Z77E-ITX i5 3570k Corsair H60 Corsair TX650M
Side note: before I noticed the issue I did witness lots of crashing and blue screens, took it to where I bought the card they did all the stress test and found that on there systems it ran perfectly.
I was using a 500w power supply supply from corsair, which I believe was causing the crashing so I upgraded to the TX650M.
Here is a small part of what I sent to EVGA RMA.
I just removed the card from my system after the testings and from what I know it looked like some sort of thermal paste from the VRAM has melted through the back plate. This is the first time I have seen this, therefor I do realize it is very rare for this to happen and I didn't even know it was possible.
I tested it with Heaven which tests both GPU and VRAM, it was working perfectly with zero issues and after 20 minutes I stopped the test and removed the card and noticed the the back plate looked greasy and there was this paste like formula poking through.
I am shocked to see this, I am now too afraid to put the card back in my system to see if it is going to work.
I know EVGA will replace the card, I am actually really impressed with the service and have heard a lot of great things from them, however does anyone think my system could of caused this?
