SATA motherboard help

Hey guys, new PC builder.
I came across this

And I'm confused on what it means...
I have an SSD and a hdd.
SSD is boot up.
Which SATA cable goes where?

Your SATA 3 (white ones) are fastest - so SSD into the SATA3
Use SATA3 for fast stuff (so HDD as well). and SATA2 for slow stuff like DVD drives etc.
Looks like you have 4 sata3 and 4 sata2

It means that if your boot drive is a HDD then connect the drive to port SATA3_0 or SATA3_1 or SATA2_2 or SATA2_3 or SATA2_4 or SATA2_5 for best performance.

Since your boot drive is a SSD then you can disregard that note.

Connect your SSD in AHCI mode to port SATA3_0 or SATA3_1 for best performance.
