Im building a computer that is on the opposite side of my house from the wireless router. (I'd say about 50 ft) And i was wondering what would give me faster speeds: Plugging my computer into a range extender via ethernet, or just buying a wifi card and connecting that way.
I have a weird feeling that a range extender would have a lot stronger of a signal than a wifi card, given my distance from the router. (There pretty much made for being far away, right?)
It is important to note that strait ethernet from my router to my computer is not an option.
