I'm running dual GTX460 cards SLI'd.

Will I be ok running one of those 2560x1440 27" displays?

Also, is there a specific dual link DVI-D cable I will need? I've found they all say the resolution is "1600x1200 pixels and higher"

yes I will be gaming, what will the issues be? are the cards not powerful enough?

If the cards are not powerful enough, what would be a solid upgrade to get enough performance?

I mean more powerful cards will perform better. I've got an Achieva Shimian and I used to have a single 460 768mb and it handled skyrim on med decently. You'll probably have to turn down some settings. I personally dont mind turning down aa a bit since theres so many more pixles you get a sort of natural super sampling-effect-type-thing going on if that makes sense.

As for as the cable goes make sure it has pins all the way up and down. The single link version has a gap in the middle.

Thanks guys, Looks like I may need to look into upgrading my cards. any recommendations on what to go with? or going one card vs SLI?

I cant throw out the cash for the best of the best, but I'd like to be able to run BF3 and eventually BF4 at high settings. Maybe be in for around $400? but less would obviously be preferable.
