Hi DarkSable,
I need a low profile VGA card that can fit within my M54l server and because it is compact so i guess i need fanless only....
Another important thing is that i need card which should have HDMI port on it.

Wait, why do you need fanless only? There are lots of compact, low-profile cards with fans.

Do you mean , Remove the existing VGA card and then use this...I got confused with your reply. Can you explain in simple terms...I am new to all this stuff.

I have unraid installed on proliant n54l and 1080p with digital audio is sufficient for me. as long as card gets recognized on unraid.

We use it as a HTPC, so have win8 installed, not familar with unRAID. I will have to look into it.

Maybe try posting on the Lime Tech / unRAID forums, they would know specifically what is best.

Are you using unRAID by itself or using add ons? Seems like people use add ons to make the server do the work rather than the output computer to minimise the requirement of the output computer. If it is by itself, I doubt you need a card, if using add on then I have no idea what is required.

This is based on an hour reading through their forums from not knowing anything about them, so again, I would double check with them.
