Well Title says it all guys.. I am looking over these 2 pre-builts from newegg and NCIX. The pre-built with NCIX lets me customize a few things unlike newegg which is nice.. but here are the specs for both with both totals, I would appreciate what you guys think would be the best bang for my buck!

Newegg - iBUYPOWER
CPU - Intel Core i5 3570(3.40GHz)
MOBO - ASROCK H61M-HVS, uATX
RAM - Kingston 8GB DDR3
GPU - AMD Radeon HD 7770 1GB
PSU - 400Watt
HD - 500GB HDD
Windows 8

Total - $673

NCIX - Vesta i5
CPU - Intel Core i5 3550 Quad Core Processor LGA1155 3.3GHZ Ivy Bridge
MOBO - Gigabyte B75M-D3H mATX LGA1155 B75 DDR3 2PCI-E16 2PCI HDMI CrossFireX SATA3 USB3.0
RAM - Kingston ValueRAM 8GB (2X4GB) DDR3 1333 CL9 240-PIN SDRAM
GPU - Gigabyte GeForce GTX 650 OC 1110MHZ 2GB 5.0GHZ GDDR5 2xDVI HDMI VGA PCI-E Video Card
PSU - Seasonic M12II 620W EPS12V 20/24PIN ATX PFC 80+ Bronze Modular 6PIN PCI-E 120MM Fan Power Supply PSU
HDD - Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB SATA 6GB/S 7200RPM 64MB Cache 3.5in Hard Drive OEM
No Windows (Load it myself)

Total - $712

Or with Windows to make it even - $801

Anyway, for the price am I better off to go with NCIX pre-built? Problem is that they don't really have any reviews on this setup, where as Newegg has some customer reviews, and they check out pretty well.. Anyway, any help would be appreciated .Thanks

In all honesty neither one provides the best bang for your buck. The first system pairs a powerful CPU with a motherboard that doesn't natively support it, combined with a low wattage power supply and a weak GPU. The second one pairs a high wattage power supply, with a so so GPU, value RAM (which is not really that great), and a motherboard that is really limited to what it can do.

For $700 this is what I'd suggest:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: Intel Core i5-3350P 3.1GHz Quad-Core Processor ($179.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: ASRock H77 Pro4/MVP ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($82.55 @ Newegg)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($64.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($59.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 2GB Video Card ($184.99 @ Newegg)
Case: Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case ($63.98 @ Newegg)

Optical Drive: Lite-On iHAS124-04 DVD/CD Writer ($17.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $724.47
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

Anyone have any idea for that site? I am building this for my son this weekend and would appreciate an input.. I am not that computer savy so I prefer to use the pre-builder from NCIX, I just don't know what parts there would be the most compatible with one another. Cheers
