I5-2500 or I53570 when we compare CPU+GPU performance

I am looking for a slight upgrade - only MoBo + CPU but my GPU is also old so I think to go with a CPU with integrated GPU. I don't think to overclock at any time so the K-series are out of my research. It looks like I5-2500 GPU is slightly better than I5-3570 but I'm not sure which combo perform better. After all I5-3570 is the newer one. I have only two major demands - good performance when I use Microsoft Visual Studio (2010/2012) and I'm also a Civillization fan so I would like to go with the combo more suited for Civilization V. I am restricted by the money so for now I only plan to upgrade MoBo and CPU, no external GPU at the moment.

Are you looking at the k or non-k models of the cpus? I ask because the k models have more powerful igpus than the no-k: 2500 has HD2000, 2500k HD3000, 3570 HD2500 and 3570k HD4000. If you are set on getting an igpu, get the 3570k with the HD4000 as it is by far the most powerful.
Alternately, you could get a slightly weaker cpu like an i5 3470 and spend the extra on a weak gpu, like an HD 66**.
What I would do is get an amd apu, which has a hugely more powerful igpu than anything intel, and would be able to run anything at the moment (with reduced settings of course). You could then not buy a dgpu if you're happy with its performance

Well. About the "K"-series - in my post i've wrote that basicly I'm not interested in them because I don't plan to overclock at any time and from what I've read this is the main reason to want a "K"-series CPU. But I've noticed that they come with a better GPU so if the higher price is compensated by the better GPU then I may consider buying I5-3570K just because the better GPU. But if the difference is not that significant I prefer to save me some money. I also wonder about some AMD instead. If I'll be able to play Civilization V at decent settings with I5 with integrated GPU this is what I think I would prefer, but I'm open to comments - if the AMD is better suited for my need (Visual Studio and decent performance on Civ5) then I may go with AMD which is cheaper. But after all I like Intel, so generally I'm looking for the optimal Intel setup.

P.S - if someone could offer a decent MoBo - good price, all the features I may want for the CPU I buy, and not looking to overclock - please tell.

So it's best for me to buy the I5-3570 and save money for 7770, then investing in I5-3570K which I will never try to overclock? Could you suggest a decent-price Mother Board that will serve well for the I5-3570 (I mean I know some motherboards are lot more expensive because of the overclock options they allow and I don't need) and can you tell if for this certain demands - Visual Studio and Civ5 the A10 5800k won't be enough, because if it is, this will save me a good amount of money. But at the same time the important thing is to get something that will work for me. If it gonna ruin my Civ5 play than I won't think about AMD APU at all.

APU's provide playable framerates but mostly only at low-to medium settings. Judge for yourself how much horsepower the game needs:

I can't comment on how well the A10 would play it, but from those charts even low-end discrete GPU's struggle with it.
