Anyone know which sort of paint to use to paint a keyboard?

Also I'd like to be able to type on it without any paint rubbing off...

i think hes more looking how to technically do it. . . like how to physically paint it. i would say carfully take it appart piece by piece and reassemble it on a piece of cardboard (obv only the plastic pieces you want painted) if your doing something fancy then put all the buttons in the correct order etc and give them a lil space apart. . . if your doing something more basic then you can have all the buttons painted one color and the major pieces another or something like that. the entire keyboard should just snap apart and back together. . . just be sure to give even, slight pressure as to not snap a connecter. also double check for little screws. good luck. . . if it were me though id just buy a new one or if you have the $ get a custom painted one from northwest falcon or alienware.

What you're looking for isn't paint, you want RIT die. It works a treat.

That being said, it's a royal pain in the rear end, and makes the house smell like cabbage for a few days, so patrick's advice is a pretty good one.

That being said, you should NOT try to buy from alienware or falcon NW - even if they would sell a custom keyboard, they aren't going to be that great of quality.

If you want one done for you, and don't care about the price, check out WSAD keyboards. If you want to be really specific about it, or if price matters, go with RIT dye.

If you aren't doing this on a mechanical keyboard, then really... your priorities are in a very odd order.
