Buying monitor off Newegg?

So I've been doing some research about getting a new monitor lately, and for my budget (max $300), this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236313 has really caught my eye. The thing that's a little weird is that there seems to be another page on Newegg selling the exact same monitor for $58 less. Is there any difference in these spec-wise, or am I not understanding Newegg somehow? Thanks!

The only way I'd buy an open box monitor is in store where I can test it. On newegg I'd pass on the open box monitor, it was most likely returned for some reason.

Oh... Lol I must have missed that...

I know that people reccomend not buying open box versions of high end stuff (like CPUs, GPUs, and Mobos), but what is your opinion of purchasing an open box monitor? Saving that $50 could really help me!
