I have an acer aspire X1420 with an AMD athlon II X2 220 processor at 2.8 GHz
and a Nvida GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 and 4 GB of RAM that runs on 220 watts and i want to get a Sapphire Radeon HD 6670 but the only thing im concerned about is the power supply because it says on the manufacture website that the recommended power supply is 400 Watts so would i need to a better supply unit?

try it. There is a huge possibility that the gpu would work with 220w psu. If not, then get a new psu

If it was the hd6570, I could almost guarantee that it would work with a 220w psu even tho they recommended 400w on amd website(When they recommend psu, they assume you have other power consuming hardwares in your system)

But I think 220w is enough for sapphire hd6670 lp
