Hi, I have a few question about SSD, right now I'm using a HDD to run windows 7 plus several games, steam, and a few more apps, and I'm thinking of getting a SSD to only run my OS (windows 7) and use my HDD to run games etc. If I install the OS into the SSD can I still use my games like battlefield 3, steam that are already installed in my HDD? or do I need to download everything again? I just want to have the OS in the SSD and all my other stuff inside my HDD but I don't really want to download everything again. And if I can do it, how can I remove my old OS installed in the HDD? or can I just leave it there? will that affect something?

Thanks

The short answer is yes you can install an SSD and then run your games from the HDD. It is not a straightforward process to achieve it cleanly, but doable. There are many guides out there that can help you get your desire, some even in Tom's.
