hey ,
before 2 weeks i've bought a new mobo , cpu and ram .
since then i began feeling some weird mouse "movement"
in any fps game so i checked my mouse while playing fps games
with MouseMovementRecorder program and it shows that i have
negative and positive acceleration ( red and green..) ,

i've tried so many things to get rid of this acceleartion but nothing really works ,

Things i've tried to do :

- Installing all mice fixes i could find in the net .
- Installing Windows XP , Win 7 32 bit and Win 7 64 bit.
- updating mobo chipset and bios .
- overclocking my cpu and turning off all the "power saving " options ...
- changing mice , tried 5 different mice already
- changing mice polling rate

I've a bad feel that it's something related to the mobo / cpu ,
or maybe the usb ports ...

here is my pc rig :

Antec basiq 550 watt .
Intel i5 3570
Gigabyte ga-h77-ds3h
G.Skill 8gb ram 1600mhz
Gigabyte Raden hd 5770 .

Your mouse acceleration sensor isn't accurate.
Change the mouse port if its an option try different USB
uninstall and the Update the mouse driver from manufacturer site.

Edit:If you use a laser mouse, you may experience a "jumpy" cursor on occasion, as dirt or debris can limit the laser's scanning ability. To solve the problem, turn the mouse over and remove any foreign matter from the small hole on the bottom that serves as the laser head.
According to the "Sensible Computer Help" website, a shiny mouse pad can also cause strange movements in a laser mouse, so a change in mouse pads could also prove beneficial.

I repeat , i really don't think it something has to be done with the mouse itself since i've tried 5 different mice with and without installing the latest drivers .

another question , could it be CPU failure ?
i mean like the processor isn't processing the mouse movement as it should be processed ?

Nevermind , i managed to solve this problem .
if anybody is interested to know how , i just disabled every single option that contribute to POWER CONSUMPTION on the BIOS + turned off the HPET .
