Hi,

So I have a 2500K with a CM 212 Evo cooling it on an MSI Z77 G-45 board, my fan speed is always at 100% and I cant find where in the bios it can be fixed, I have speedfan installed to control it, but I would rather not use a third party application to remedy this issue and I dont really know how exactly it works, I just set my fan to 50%. Any help would be appreciated!

More about : fan speed 100

Temps are fine, OCd to 4.3 33 degrees with the fan manually set to 50% (no load). I found in the bios sysfan1 IS set to auto, however, CPU smart fan target is disabled. Should I enable this? if so what do I set as the target temp?

So I set the Smart Fan Target to 40 and the min fan speed to 37.5%, seems to be working well.....thanks!
