Hi guys so I recently upgraded my PC and was wondering how long I will be able to play games on max or high settings. Please keep in mind that I also play on a low res at 1360x768.

I'm currently in College/planning to go to uni and money is a bit of a pain. I'm planning to save around £500 to spend on a new MOBO and CPU.

System specs:
PSU: OCZ 650w
CPU: AMD Phenom ii x4 965BE
GPU: GTX 660 Ti
MOBO: Asus m4a78lt-m
RAM: 8GB DDR3 1333MHz
HDD: 1.5TB

I have a similar spec - x4 955 / GTX660Ti. I play quite happy at 1900x1200.

I will take a guess that when the next consoles are rolled out, there will be a step-change (hopefully) in requirements for PC ports that take advantage of new capabilities, but the PS4 and XBox next / 720 spec don't exactly ring my bell, so that change may not be so great ;)

Hey,

Thats a pretty solid system, its a bit weaker on the CPU side, but at that resolution it will have no problem playing games at pretty much max. You could even play most games at high or very high settings at 1080P (1920x1080), so no worries there.

Hope this helps!
