Hello, in a months time I will be building a gaming PC, this one: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/RageSaul/saved/1nmE

Now, first off, if there are any parts you think are bad, please mention them.

I have lot's of questions, so here they are:

1. What do I need when building my PC? Things like static wristbands ect.

2. I have a 1080p samsung HDTV, will the quality of the screen depend on the GPU? It might seem silly but I'm not sure.

3. Will I need a HDMI to DVI cable if I want to use the MIC on my headset, because I think DVI only sends video and there is no MIC slot for my headphones on the TV.

4. Will I be able to run next-gen games on ultra with steady FPS? :p

Thank you,
-Rage

1.) All you need is a wood table and a screwdriver. Touch metal on your case every once in a while to discharge yourself.

2.) The display will look exactly the same if you have a 610 or a 690. The difference will be how high of settings you can run and at what framerate.

3.)Your case should have input for headphones and mic on the front panel (pink for mic, green for sound).

4.) Good build. At 1920x1080 you will be able to run on high/ultra for a while as long as you don't try running AA on 16xSSAA.

Great, thanks for the answer but for the build, won't I need thermal paste..? And I think I will get a static wristband just in case, the floor that my feet touch is carpet so static electricity might build up...
