I left home this morning with my computer on, I have turned off all auto updates to prevent my computer from restarting/ powering down (I use my desktop as an alarm clock).

When I came home after work, (12 hrs later), my system was off, but my MoBo light was on. When tried to start my computer, nothing happened whatsoever.

I went through and took everything apart (excluding my cpu fan and Processor), and reconnected everything to eliminate the chance of any cords being loose/unsnapped. I got the same result. I went through the "before you post" thread, and made sure I did everything before posting.

my build is composed of the following:

-GIGABYTE GA-X58A-OC LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
-G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 24GB (6 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9T2-24GBRL

-2 x MSI N550GTX-Ti Cyclone OC GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Fermi) 1GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support ...

- ZALMAN CNPS9900MAX-B 135mm Long life bearing CPU Cooler Blue LED

- Intel Core i7-950 Bloomfield 3.06GHz LGA 1366 130W Quad-Core Processor BX80601950

- COOLMAX RM-1000B 1000W ATX 12V v2.2/ EPS12V v2.91 SLI / CrossFire Ready Active PFC and Compatible with Core i3/i5/i7 ...

Thermaltake Level 10 GT (VN10001W2N) Black SECC / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case with Four Fans-1x 200mm Colorshift

I don't know my issue, I am thinking that something is wrong with my power switch, however, that wouldn't really give a reason for my computer being off, and I know that there were not any power surges.
