Question about booting a new PC build

So I'm a first time PC builder. Just installed all my components other than hard drive and optical drives and I fired up the computer to see if it was booting up and running the POST. Didn't hear any beeps but the computer booted up to the bios screen just fine and everything looks like its running normally and ok.. does this mean that everything's working right?

I'm assuming I'm good to go but just wanted to check before I start installing my drives and what not.

Oh yea, just realized I don't have a motherboard speaker and I don't think the motherboard came with one. I had normal speakers hooked up and thought it might beep through those but I guess not. I have a ASRock Z77 extreme 4 motherboard.
