Any idea when the Titan will be back in stock?

Hands down Go with the 690 faster than titan.

Depends what you plan on doing. Simply put: the Titan > 690 when you start SLIing the cards. If you're going for a single GPU solution then 690 > Titan. Also, I'd really only consider the Titan if you have a multiple monitor setup. 6+ GB of memory is wasted on a single monitor, even with the highest resolutions.
