Greetings

I'm going to be building my first pc. I would greatly appreciate advice on choosing the components. My main focus will be gaming and I want to overclock. I don't have any preference over another manufacturer, although i suppose intel makes the better cpu's at the moment.

My budget will be in the 800-900€ range.

I'm already set on the case and it's not included on the budget. The case will be: Fractal design define r4

Parts i already have and plan to use on the new pc: Monitor, keyboard&mouse, 2x500gb sata hdd's.

So what im looking for is a new cpu, motherboard, gpu, psu, ssd, ram, cpu cooler and a few case fans.

I live in Finland but i was planning on ordering from Germany. As far as i know they seem to be the cheapest there.

So any advice on the parts and where to buy them would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

Edit: forgot to mention that i won't be doing any crossfire/sli now or in the future.

Thanks for your answers.

After some digging i made myself 2 options to choose from. Either i go now for the unlocked i5 and overclock it. In which case I made a list of the following components in the Hardwareversand.de web store. (cheapest prices currently)

Or I get an i5 3350p and a cheap h77 mobo. And use these parts later on my 2nd computer when I get a new unlocked cpu probably of the new intel chipset? Haswell or something. Below is the list for non oc.

Questions I would like to ask now are: Which choice would you suggest to go for? How do these components look? Anything I should replace or add? I'm not sure what batuchka meant by ebuyer access but if it is the component store located in U.K whose web site I checked then probably not since it seemed that they only deliver within U.K. Anyone familiar with the Hardwareversand are they reliable?

The 7970 card could last for a long while although the 7950 is not bad either. So many choices and I'm getting very confused :D thanks in advance.
