I have a 250GB SSD as my Master drive, and I'm trying to get my 1TB HDD to show up on my system, but I heard that to do that I need to make my HDD a slave. I got my jumper pin here, but I have no idea which of the 8 pins to put it over, and google has lead me to a bunch of different answers all pointing at different pins.

The model number (I think) is WD10EZEX if that helps.

Solution
The Gray SATA connectors are the SATA III (6GB) connectors - should be used for the SSD. The blue SATA connectors are SATA II - and should be used for the HDD & Optical Drive(s). Order won't matter.

How can I tell which one is the first? On my motherboard (Asus P8Z77-V LK), I have 4 blue and 2 white SATA connectors and I can't find that particular detail on my user manual.
