I can run my games fine when I put it on default clocks in the Catalyst control center but I'm just wondering why my games freeze when I try to overclock my 7750. I used to be able to overclock without my games freezing but now I just can't overclock it without my games freezing.

When I overclock use :
Core Clock: 900 Mhz
Memory Clock: 1250 mhz

Current Graphics card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Oh and just wondering is the card I'm getting okay for overclocking?

New graphics card I'm getting:

Could be the overclock isn't stable. Did you test it with Furmark or similar stress test?

Sakkura is most likley right. I have found that overclocked settings that are stable in winter can become unstable in summer as ambient temps rise, also as mentioned above have you done any stress testing to check stablility or are you just upping the speeds and playing games hoping it won't crash?? Download Gpu-z and check your temps while running furmark or other stress tests and get back to us. Do you change the power target settings as well as the core and mem settings? 7750's only take power from the PCI-E slots which can limit overclocking to some extent compaired to the 7770's http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... which has the same core (faster core and mem settings) with a 6pin power plugin on the card as well as taking power from the PCI-E slot. Hope things workout for you.

I like to use ASUS GPU Tweak for Overclocking my GPU. CCC has always limited overclocking for me. You need to increase the power target by 20%. and you may also need to increase the GPU voltage (mV) to stabilize the OC. Be careful don't over-volt the GPU and kill it. And increasing the mV will also increase the heat.

You can overclock that GPU. I don't know about Powercolor but i know that a lot of XFX cards as well as MSI cards will lock cards so you cant OC them very high. (I feel like I saw this exact same GPU like an hour ago with the same question :D  )
