WS-WN518N2 not accepting default password

Hi, I took delivery of my Wireless N wi-fi receiver today and have managed to follow the instructions to get to the page where it asks for a username and password to load the setup webpage. However, the default "admin" and "admin" are not accepted. Can anyone please help?

The receiver is similar to the WS-WN518N2 (bought from Amazon) and it says to setup an ip address of 192.168.10.x (where x is from 2 to 254) the subnet is 255.255.255.0 and the gateway is 192.168.10.1 - I have done all this but cant get any further.

Hi utroz, Thanks for replying but I have already tried resetting the receiver 2 or 3 times but it still doesn't recognise admin admin as the username or password.

Any other ideas or do you think I have a dud receiver?

I have found on some routers and wifi gear you need to use a the unbent small paper clip to actually get the reset button to function right, you had it plugged into the wall when you do the reset right? Also try holding the reset for more like 15 to 20 seconds. i dunno if you have already tried all this maybe it will help.. Other than that i am out of ideas.. Was it new or used? cause if it was new there is no reason the password and user name should be the default...
