Asus Rampage IV Extreme
Intel i7-3930k
Corsair Vengeance 16gb (4x4) 2133MHz
2 x EVGA Geforce GTX 680 FTW+ 4gb
Corsair H80i Hydro Series CPU Cooler
Corsair CMPSU-1200AX 1200-Watt Power Supply

My case has 3 usb2.0s that need to be pluged in + 1 from my cpu cooler (4 total). There's only 2 ports on my Motherboard. I'm I missing something? is there a splitter you can use?

Any USB splitter would have to act as a hub, sharing the bandwidth between multiple devices. In other words, you could get slower USB speeds. If you're unwilling to leave any of the USB cables disconnected from motherboard headers, another option would be to consider a PCI/PCIe expansion card.

What case do you have though? 3 full-sized headers is a lot since each 9-pin header serves two USB ports. Are these individual four-pin cables? In that case the MOBO will have enough to go around. Just put two 4-pin single-port cables on each dual-port header (being careful to line up the pins in the right order; the dummy pin on the 9-pin layout is there to force correct alignment)

There are no splitters. If they would make one it would cause one of the usb devices to fail. What you might want to do, if you are really going to use all of the usb ports is get two of these...http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815201008 They will let you plug in the two extra headers. Just make sure you plug in the usb from the H80i into the motherboard

4 USB 2.0 ports from the case should only take up 2 cables. USB 3.0 has it's own header and different cable. I'm not sure where this third USB 2.0 cable from the case is from since it shouldn't be needed. Are you sure you're not confusing a cable of a different type (HD audio cable can look very similar)?

Still, the best solution is the PCI card

So I followed all the lines and figured it out witch is what I should have done before wasting all of your time. There are 2 plugs that go to the 4 usb ports and another plug that goes to a memory card reader. the forth one is on the corsair liquid cooler. I found an internal module by NZXT that has 3 more internal plugs so everything will work. That being said, is it a possibility that plugging in an internal hub like that will slow down the anything on the case? Or, will it all run at the same speed?
