Hi so I'm 13 years old and I just built my first computer and it went well, I enjoyed the process so much i will now take any excuse to work on my computer. So I thought "Why not get a neighborhood buisness or something that builds custom computers for people and make some money!" But Im wondering if Im experienced enough, because Ive only built one computer. If i am experienced enough how would i go about building computers for people? Thanks!

I would recommend that you find an older computer in your house and take it apart and put it back together A LOT. Practice everyday for a couple months until you have the whole thing down to a science. Then you may be qualified for building but not owning a business yourself. Legally your parents would have to manage everything that you do instead of you personally owning it yourself. Also building computers comes with great responsibility, you are being trusted with thousands of dollars in parts, if one is broken you have to pay for it. Also there would be a lack of compelling ethos to make people want to trust a 13 year old with the again thousand dollar machine. So in the end... sure you could do it there just may be many bumps in the road if you do. If you are looking for money go mow lawns... you'll make more that way

In stead of all that, see if you an get a job working for a local computer repair shop, church, or some organization. If you have only built one computer, you will want to learn from someone who has a lot of knowledge rather than trying to figure out how to fix things on your own. You'll be much more successful that way.

I recommend this, because unfortunately a lot can go wrong when you are doing this and being in experienced, not many people will trust you just yet. Learn from a pro and you will have a much happier time! :)
