Best Budget Gaming Monitor?

Solution
Both of those monitors aren't bad... My ASUS "23 LED LCD Gaming Monitor's response time is 2ms. It's very responsive when I am gaming, especially on Call of Duty and Battlefield. You don't see the ghosting or anything like that. You can consider ASUS in your research... there are so many models to choose from. I used to be like that and I couldn't decide but I finally bought the ASUS 23" and I love it very much. One thing about those monitors you listed I noticed about is... neither of both monitors have HDMi inputs. If it's not your concern at all, then I'd go with AOC. Good luck with your hunting. :)

Acer monitor more cables and it appears to be maybe a tad more adjustable.

edit:
By adjustable i mean the monitor looks like it may be tiltable which is a nice feature to have whereas the AOC looks solid in the pictures of the back.

ASUS makes a great 21.5" 1920x1080 monitor that DOES come with HDMI inputs. It comes in around $130 but I've seen them go for as low at $80 + S&H on eBay (if you trust that sort of thing) It's the VS228-HP I believe, and it's gotten fantastic reviews from almost all the sources I've seen.

If you're looking for something a bit larger but still under budget, likewise on eBay you might find LG's IPS234V (23" LED backlit LCD) that go for as low as $125-130.

And finally, also in the 23" class, Samsung's S23B550V. These go for about the same as the LG monitor, but they both retail for significantly more.

If you're not afraid to shop on eBay (and I've never been screwed on it so I don't mind) these are great deals. All 3 of those have 5ms or less response time with great professional and consumer reviews that I've found. They all come with HDMI inputs (which is preferrable if you're wanting to utilize your 1920x1080 resolution to it's fullest, in my opinion) as well as traditional VGA inputs.
