Recently my computer has been freezing and emitting a loud static sound whenever I start streaming video or playing a game. I ran memtest and found there was an issue with the RAM in one of the slots so I took it out and the computer is fine. Whenever I put an the RAM back in or only use the other RAM in the suspect slot my computer goes back to freezing.

All my overclocking, voltages, and timings are set to auto which has been working great until about a week ago.

I've tried updating BIOS, drivers, and using different RAM, all with the same result.

Could it be a PSU issue with not getting enough power to that module or more of a motherboard issue?

Thank you for your time! :D
