CPU fan speed and temps.

So my computer was running a bit loud and guessed it was the CPU fan that was making the noise. I downloaded Core Temp and saw the cores were at 34c. Then i downloaded Fan Speed and changed the CPU fan from 100% to 30% and the computer got real quiet and was perfect. I checked core temp again and said the Cores were still around 30c and 34c... is this right? Can i leave it at 30% or is Core temp not showing the right temps? What is the downside to bringing down the CPU fan to 30% and not leaving it at 100%?

If your temps are hovering that low at 30% that's perfect lol, My computer for instance sits at 29C at 40% speed on idel so your golden. Just be sure to check it when your computer is acutally being taxed (like gaming) and checking the temps otherwise id leave it alone

Yeah it was just weird how the temps didn't change when it went from 100% to 30%.. But yeah when I'm gaming I'll be sure to check.
