Alright so I am building a budget pc for my little brother. I bought the PSU used and im not quiet sure if it is big enough. I didnt do any research because I didnt think it was going to be a problem. Its only a 430w. I dont ever do any research on psu's I always just buy what i know is big enough. Have everything hooked up just waiting on disk drive and hdd. Everything powers up for about 30 seconds then shuts off.

Specs:
AMD Phenom IIx4 3.4GHz with stock heatsink
Radeon HD 6770
260GB sata hdd
2 120mm fans
LG DVD/CD drive
4GB ripjaws

Solution
mhh sorry to say but you PSU is to weak for your system
you graphic card requires at 450W PSU as minimum..

so you need a new psu,try going back to the shop you bought and just add some extra monet and switch this one since you barley been using it...
take at least a 450 or even i would take a 500 :)
