hello,
i'm not able to use my keyboard (writing this with virtual keyboard)..recently,my pc has been giving - no keyboard detected message after bios screen but a very few times (say 1 out of 10) it works too..like it would not give message after bios and it lets me select - start windows normally mode, but very soon when i'm running windows,it would stop responding..

firstly, i thought the ps2 port of motherboard is bad so i bought this usb to ps2 coverter and plugged it in one of the usb ports but no use..gave me same problem..
then tried the keyboard of my another system but still gave the same problem..and both these keyboards are working fine with the second system..

then i tried a different hdd with windows xp(this one has windows 7)..but no..still gave me the same message after bios screen

so it's not bad ps2 port, it's not bad keyboard ,not bad windows..
any idea what could be wrong?

thanks

Solution
please download and install this program. Copy and past the summery of it in your next reply. I suspect an out dated bios or driver...if that's the case then I can give you a download link to update some of your hardware real quick to see if it fix's your problem...
