I'm looking for any suggestions on buying a new mobo. i have already ordered a new FX cpu but i'm looking for a mobo with pre-installed updated bios for the piledriver. Also i would like it to have the core unlocker, crossfire ready and easy oc options for future use. i'm on a budget, like to spend around 100 dollars, could go a little more (20-30dollars more) if it will make a big difference and i wont have to upgrade again in 6months. Thanks for all the input.

Okay so I think I found what your looking for http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157280
This mobo allows many many OCing options that you are wanting and will easily run 1866 speed ram. Also looks like you could fit 2 gtx 680's on that sucker if you wanted to. :) I don't know why it has so many bad reviews tho...I believe its due to rough shipping from ups and fedx...try finding this mobo on amazon and if you can order it from some one other than newegg and you shouldn't have any issues with it...

Actually better yet here is a small list of what you are looking for any of these will oc and support what you are wanting to do...

Lol dude I'm sorry but that's almost not enough info what CPU are you planning on getting? the eight core? six core? quad what? version? And do you have a max amount of speed ram that your wanting to get for it? like 1866 speeds? 2400 speeds? Also is there any particular GPU's your wanting to get? All this makes a difference when choosing a motherboard like the one your wanting to get...

Lol rhw? and you need a motherboard that can connect 3 case fans + a liquid cooling pump with an additional 2 or 4 fans to keep that radiator cooled? And I believe all power supply's have a built in fan that does not require any plugs on your motherboard...

Did I get all that correct? Cuss you sure did confuse me a bit...
Lol okay so I looked at some of the list I gave you and some of them don't have all those connectors but I saw three that did I stopped looking after I found a third one but you keep looking on that list and i'm sure that there are more that meet your needs...just look in the details section like I did...
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157262 has 6
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131877 has 6? 7?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157280 has 5 +?

Thx for all ur hyelp really. i'll go with the extreme3. has enough fan connectors plus 5 sata connector's and its even in my price range. wish i could afford the sabertooth but it would take a lil longer for me to get. with new cpu, mobo and gpu i just cant budget in that also. ur a lifesaver though.

k good to know. b4 i take out the icafe 770 i'm gonna buy some tape and label all the wires while there plugged in so i know where they all go in new mobo. BTW do u know if the mobo runs both pcie slots at x16 or is it one of the ones that runs 1 at x16 and the other at x4 or 2 at x8. i'd prefer to have both running at x16 even if it ends up costing me a lil extra.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157280
The extreme 3 motherboard only supports PCI Express 2.0 with 2 slots one x16 and the other x4
2 (x16, x4)

The http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131877
Sabertooth one supports 2 x16 slots or 3 way with x16 by x8 by x8
You following?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157262
This one only supports one x16 card or 3 setup with x8 by x8 by x4...
So I'd get the sabertooth one or look for a differen't motherboard in your price range...
Or save up actually...

since u know computers so well can i ask u one quik question. i was told sli or crossfire still has quite a few problems performance wise and i wouldn't really notice the sli or xfire much at all and i'd prob have more issues than its really worth. so froim ur experience should i even go with the sli or xfire or should i should go with buying a 7870 or 660 and forget about the sli/crossfire? just want to know your input from your personal experience. and yes i follow you with the mobo.

Hmm well the performance boost you can get with sli/crossfire all depends on what GPU's you decide to do it with. If I where 2 get two GTX 670's they would out preform one GTX 680 in fact it would pretty much match up to a GTX 690 Get what I'm saying? :/ But I'd only do it if you where goanna be okay with all the problems that sli/crossfirex comes with? And when doing sli/x It all very depends on what motherboard you use to get the best performance with sli/x... If you don't want to worry about over heating, higher power consumption, etc...then I'd suggest getting a 690 instead of 2 670's Basically If you are an enthusiast then I'd just get like a GTX 650 Ti boost or the 660/670 and not half to worry about it...BTW the 650 boost and 660 are exactly the same in spec's...cept the 650 boost is like 45$ cheaper...+ I hear it can easily play 1080p at 40fps

ok thank you for everything. just for ur info i ended up going with the gigabyte fxa990 ud3 because i got it on sale from microcenter for 99.99 as a 48hr sale and spent a lil over on my budget and bought a single 670 for now, buy an additional gpu within the next 2 months. everything will be at my house within next 24hrs and ill let u know how it works out. if i dont like the UD3 then i think i'm gna go a lil overboard and buy the asrock extreme9 and wait an extra week for the 2nd gpu. Thanx for all ur help
